Non-iron shirt alternatives — without formaldehyde
The "non-iron" / "wrinkle-free" finish on cotton dress shirts is typically a formaldehyde-based resin. Formaldehyde is a known human carcinogen and a potent skin sensitizer — that "new shirt smell" on a wrinkle-free dress shirt is often residual off-gassing.
