FabricIQ provides fabric composition analysis, material quality ratings, care instruction decoding, sustainability scoring, health information, and brand analytics. The Service is provided for informational purposes to help consumers make informed clothing decisions.
While we strive to provide accurate material data and care recommendations, FabricIQ is an informational tool. We do not guarantee that our ratings, scores, or care instructions are error-free. Always check the manufacturer's care label for definitive instructions.
When you submit product data (barcode scans, fabric compositions, care symbols), you grant FabricIQ a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use this data to improve the Service. Contributed data may be shared with other users as part of the product database.

The underlying factual properties of materials (e.g., "cotton is biodegradable") are not copyrightable. However, our specific numerical scores, rankings, editorial assessments, and the organized collection of this data as a database are protected.

All product scores, material data, brand analytics, and derived insights are proprietary to FabricIQ. Here's how different use cases are handled:
Free Consumer Use
Viewing scores on getfabriciq.com, the mobile app, and the Chrome extension is always free.
Commercial Licensing
Available for retailers, e-commerce platforms, sustainability reporting tools, and resale apps.
Licensing Tiers
Evaluation (free, rate-limited), Commercial ($X/mo based on volume), Enterprise (custom pricing and SLAs).

FabricIQ's name, logo, scoring system, and brand intelligence data are proprietary. Our work represents significant creative and research effort, and we take protection seriously.
FabricIQ collects publicly available product composition data from brand websites to power our database. We believe in being transparent about how we gather information.
FabricIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damage to clothing from following care recommendations or health decisions based on our educational content.
